Programs & Activities
Morning Program
The morning program is for children ages 2 to 6. Children arriving early may come at 7:30 a.m. The program begins at 8:30 and ends at 12:30 p.m. A limited number of children may may stay until 3:30 or as late 5:30 p.m. Since it is a longer stay, these children bring their own lunch and have rest and/or activities after lunch.
Summer Program
The summer program is for children ages 2 to 6. The program runs all summer long. Children can be enrolled for 1, 2 or 3 months. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. with an option for late stay until 2:30 or 5:30 p.m.. Children bring their own lunch. Most of the activities occur outdoors in the summer and there are occasional field trips.
Yearly Schedule
La Casita begins the day after Labor Day and ends the last Friday in May. During the school year, La Casita follows the Santa Fe Public School's calendar. Delays or cancellation due to weather are the same as the SF Public Schools. If there is a two hour SF Public School delay the preschool opens at 10 a.m. Listen to KVSF Radio for school closures or call the school for messages .
